We have kicked off our MK Indy Honda K20 engine development programme.


Our stage 1 kit consists of:
Bourne Drop in Cams
Skunk2 Inlet Manifold
Skunk2 Throttle Body
MK 4-2-1 Exhaust System


We have put this setup through its paces on our Superflow engine dyno, calibrating all load sites on an ME (Motorsport Electronics) ECU. This setup has impressed us, delivering a whopping 265bhp using pump fuel.

The Power of Drop-In Cams:
The installation of our high-performance drop-in cams. These cams are specifically designed to optimize engine airflow and valve timing, resulting in improved power and torque delivery. With the new drop-in cams, the engine now generates an impressive 265bhp, providing a significant boost in performance.

The Bourne HPP drop-in camshafts feature larger and broader lobes in comparison to the factory cams. Consequently, they keep the intake valves open for a longer duration, leading to increased power and enhanced efficiency when the engine operates at higher speeds.

The last stage of the development takes us to Blyton Race Circuit, where we will live map the engine on track, adding the finishing touches to the fuel map in real world conditions.
